The team at Five Valley’s shopping centre in Stroud have launched a creative competition to celebrate mums this Mother’s Day, Sunday, March 15.
The ‘Draw Your Mum’ competition encourages youngsters to embrace their imaginations by challenging them to come up with their own artistic interpretation of their Mum – giving one youngster the chance to win a special Mother’s Day prize to gift to their mum.
A special ‘pamper hamper’ of Mother’s Day goodies will be gifted to the winner – children are asked to draw their Mum and write a short message about why their mum is so amazing.
The competition has been organised to celebrate Mother’s Day and give children the opportunity to say a big thank you to their mums for everything they do for them.
Children wishing to participate in the competition can pick up, and hand in their completed entry forms to Pop and Pup. Completed entries must be handed into Pop and Pup by 2pm March 14th.
All entries must provide their name, age, and a parental contact telephone number. Entries will be judged by the Five Valley’s centre management team, and the winners will be announced on Sunday March 15th (Mother’s Day).
Assistant Centre Manager Mollie Phillips said: “Five Valleys has some great Mother’s Day gifts and cards in stores now. The Draw Your Mum competition is a lovely opportunity for children to say a big thank you to all the brilliant mums out there and we can’t wait to see some of the amazing artwork that the children come up with.”
Entries will be displayed at Five Valleys so the budding young artists and their families have the chance to see their drawings on display.
