Stonehouse Town and Slimbridge were well represented at Wembley as England defeated arch-rivals Germany to book a place in the Euro 2020 quarter-finals.

Stonehouse Town trio George Pedrick, Will Pedrick, Tim Williams and Slimbridge striker Jamie Martin made the trip to cheer on Gareth Southgate’s victorious side.

The irrepressible Raheem Sterling made the breakthrough after the break and Harry Kane meanwhile rediscovered his spark, finally hitting his first goal of this tournament to make it England 2-0 Germany.
