Churches Together in Stroud staged their annual Walk of Witness around the town on Good Friday.
“There’s probably about a dozen churches represented here at least,” said Phil Coysh, event organiser.

This year’s event, which began at the top of the High Street near The Door shop, included a stop in King Street before moving to the Sub Rooms forecourt.
“We meet together to remember the crucifixion of Jesus, walk through the town and stop at various places and end up at St Laurence Church for a short service, coffee and hot cross buns.”
Mr Coysh believes the event has been staged in Stroud every Good Friday for the past 45 years.
