Stroud Red Band’s annual Horns on Horns Road event took place on Bank Holiday Monday.

As ever the band walked the traditional route from Trinity Church to the Crown and Sceptre, which is widely believed to be the site of ancient temple of Bacchus.

Jeremy Green, the band’s commissar for political affairs, said: “This year’s Horns on Horns Road was bigger than ever, with many more people joining us for the procession.

“It was great to have Miserden Morris with us, and it was an honour to play at Rodda’s final Outer Fringe festival, as he is retiring as the landlord for the pub.”
