Pictures: Mayflower steams through Stroud

Photographer Richard Kelsey captured Thompson Class B1 61306 Mayflower, built in 1948, passing through Stroud on a pleasant Easter Saturday evening.

The SLS Cotswold Explorer tour was on its return leg from Worcester Shrub Hill to Norwich (running 40 plus minutes late at Stroud due to a later than scheduled departure from Worcester). Diesel Class 47 D1924, named Crewe Diesel Depot, was on the back of the train.
