Stroud’s Subscription Rooms played host to a spectacular fashion show last night, Sunday, August 22nd. The event was organised by businessman and former model Russell Nurding, owner of The Cutting Shed hair salon in Cirencester.
The show, a fundraiser for the Sub Rooms, featured sets by local businesses including Phetsai Designs, Red Heart, Duffle Vintage, Butterfly Ball, Kasmir Dreams, M&CO, Humphries & Begg, Moonflower, Time After Time, A Brilliant Disguise, Sub Couture, Lily & Me, The Dressing Room, Sandersons and Madia & Matilda, with the stage dressed by Haberdashery Twist.
Guest models included former England cricketer David ‘Syd’ Lawrence, Miss England finalist Cherrelle Jade Ford and actor Patrick Baladi.
BBC All Together Now judge Lili Davies, DJ Louise Aiken, and Chloe Lees of Cotswold Midnight Storytellers took on compering duties.
The show comprised two 45-minute sessions in front of a full house and showcased fashion for men, women and children – from summer clothes to winter outfits. Pictures by Matt Bigwood.
