Stroud Times are delighted to announce that Adam Horovitz will be joining the team as our arts correspondent.
Adam is an acclaimed poet, who will be a featured poet on the new Cerys Matthews album of poem-songs We Come From the Sun this year. He has worked as a journalist, editor and copywriter for many years, for Glastonbury Festival’s official website, the Cheltenham Literature Festival, PR companies and various other journals, while pursuing what he wryly calls a career as a poet.
On joining the team, Adam said: “I’m delighted to be returning to local arts reporting, especially in a town like Stroud, whose vibrant arts scene I have watched develop with keen interest over the last 30 years. I am very much looking forward to rediscovering the full breadth of the arts and entertainment scene in the town and the district, and to speaking to old friends and acquaintances, and to making new ones.”
Stroud Times’ editor, Ash Loveridge, welcomed the appointment. “Adam is a well-known person on the arts scene throughout our locality and across the country,” he said.
“We worked together many moons ago and I’m delighted to join forces with him again – he will bring a creative flair to our burgeoning website.”
