Police alert: quarter of a million pounds worth of vehicles stolen

Police are appealing for information following the theft of six high- value vehicles from a premises in Cambridge near Berkeley over the weekend.

It was reported that unknown offenders had forced entry to a premises on the A38 Bristol Road at around 10pm on Saturday (24 May) and again at around 9.45pm on Sunday.

While on site, the group stole around £250,000 worth of machinery which included a Machine Kobtoa excavator, digger and roller. The group are believed to have left with the vehicles in convoy after the burglary.

Investigating officers will be conducting enquiries in the area and a forensic investigation of the scene will be carried out.

They are keen to hear from anyone who saw what happened or who has any CCTV or dashcam footage from around the time of the incident which they feel may be relevant.
