Police are appealing for witnesses and information after two men assaulted another man in Cam, near Dursley, last month.

It was reported that a man, who was driving a supermarket delivery van, saw a green quad bike and a black scrambler motorbike being driven erratically by two masked males on Kingshill Road.

A third male was riding on the back of the quad bike.

The van driver gestured to the male riders who then followed him into Quarry Gardens.

When the man got out of the van, the two riders punched him in the face and kicked him in the chest.

The man sustained cuts and bruising to his face and ribs and was very shaken by what happened.

The suspects were described as wearing short-sleeved shirts, dark clothing and were all wearing balaclavas.

The incident took place at around 9pm on Friday 29 May and investigating officers have conducted house to house and CCTV enquiries.

They would now like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or seen the suspects in lead up to it, or who may have any other information which could help to identify the males involved.
