Police seize knife after man seen behaving ‘suspiciously’


Armed officers arrested a man on suspicion of possessing a bladed article in Hardwicke this evening (Friday, November 3rd).

The arrest was made and a knife recovered outside McDonald’s on the Hardwicke roundabout just before 5.35pm. 

It followed reports of a man in dark clothing with a knife behaving suspiciously in the Church Lane area.

The arrested man, in his 20s and from Gloucester, remains in police custody tonight.

Anyone with information or anyone who saw the man earlier in the evening but hasn’t spoken to police is asked to call 101 or complete the following form, quoting incident 374 of 3 November: .
