Police want to trace man who followed woman dog walker in Nailsworth

Police are appealing for CCTV footage after a woman dog walker was followed by an unknown man in Nailsworth.

Police were called by a member of the public who had been approached by a woman at around 9pm on Tuesday, March 25. She told him that a man had been following her and asked him for assistance.

The man who had been following the woman then hid behind a van and left the scene.

He is described as being white, aged between 40 and 50 and of average height and build. He was wearing dark clothing and large boots which he dragged as he walked. He was also carrying a white bag.

Following the report, officers have actively patrolled the area during the evenings last week and have made a number of enquiries into the incident.

They are now appealing for any information and are keen to hear from anyone who has relevant dashcam, CCTV or doorbell footage to contact police quoting incident 566 of 25 March.
