Gloucestershire police are “working to close down an illegal rave” at a quarry in the village of Daglingworth near Cirencester this morning.

The tweet read: “We’re currently working to close down an illegal rave at Daglingworth Quarry. Entrances are closed from the A417 and Welsh Way and revellers are warned to stay away.

“We’d like to thank the local community for their patience and understand the impact an event like this can have.”
