The evening kicked-off with Neon Pumps, a Stroud-based DJ and producer whose vibrant, bouncy beats instantly energised the crowd. With a mix of electro loops, warm neon tones, and bass-rich soundscapes, Neon Pumps delivered a set that was both nostalgic and fresh, perfectly setting the mood for the night.

The atmosphere was nothing short of magical, with the warm, balmy weather enhancing the enchanting ambiance of The Yard’s courtyard—a perfect venue choice for this inaugural gathering. The crowd was engaged and eager, clearly vibing with the eclectic mix of beats.

Headliner Sam Judd, co-creator of Sonar Sessions, took the stage and captivated the audience with his intricate techno and electronica blends. Drawing from global sounds, Sam’s set was a mesmerising journey through his latest work, including tracks from his debut EP, “Temple Music.” Overall, Sonar Sessions was a triumph, leaving attendees excited for what’s to come.

With future events already in the works, this is just the beginning of a vibrant new chapter for Stroud’s home-grown electronic music scene.
