A much-loved village pub at the heart of its community has reopened its doors today (Wednesday) following a major refurbishment.
The King’s Head, located on King’s Stanley High Street, welcomed customers once again under the new ownership of Sam Viggers and Jen Hawkins. The pair have breathed new life into the historic venue, blending its traditional charm with fresh ideas for the future.

Jen and Sam have big plans for The King’s Head, including the introduction of guest accommodation and a brand-new country-style restaurant.

The menu will focus on locally sourced produce, reflecting their commitment to supporting local suppliers and offering a true taste of the region.

Locals gathered to celebrate the reopening, marking an exciting new chapter for the cherished community hub.

The King’s Head is a detached Grade II Listed building dating back originally to 1726.
