Revenge is a dish best served cold but Forest Green boss Rob Edwards is having none of it when his side goes toe-to-toe with Newport County in the Severnside derby on Saturday.

Last season, Newport reached the Sky Bet League Two play-off final after a 5-4 aggregate win against Jimmy Ball’s Rovers in a pulsating, topsy-turvy semi-final second leg at The New Lawn, but Edwards insists the previous encounter won’t be on his radar when Saturday comes.

James Rowberry’s County are third in the table – 12 points behind Rovers.
