Christmas is coming early for Noel fans – but the In It Together Festival 2022 promises far more than an oasis of rock and pop celebration.
A short hop west from Stroud, the clock’s ticking down for this debut festival which seeks to draw people together after the rigours of the last two years.
Big names that top the three-day bill, starting on Friday, June 3rd and running for three days, include British rock legend Noel Gallagher, Two Door Cinema Club, Clean Bandit, Tinie Tempah, Armand Van Helden, Roger Sanchez and dozens more artists that embrace a huge variety of performing talent.
Organiser Rob Chadwick told Stroud Times the festival, near Port Talbot, was born out of an inevitable reaction to the effects on the Pandemic: “It’s essentially a community, a festival, a reunion and a celebration – it’s all that we’ve gone through and all that we’ve missed.
“Here in the heart of the Welsh valleys, we plan to bring it all together with international names, local emerging talent, festival goers, performers, volunteers and members of the local community. We want to reunite everyone with everything they love about life and look forward to welcoming everyone.”
Coinciding with the Jubilee bank holiday weekend, held at Old Park Farm in the village of Margam, the In It Together Festival will amass one the biggest and most diverse line-ups ever to land in Wales.
The site boasts luxury camping options with a dedicated campsite for 16-17-year-olds, plus a separate and quieter zone for those who want to relax, as well as a louder campsite for “party animals”.
Further family attractions include cabaret, comedy, cool hooping, a climbing wall, balloon modelling, limbo competition, vibe roulette, the world’s largest bouncy castle and circus fun, in addition to wellbeing and mental health featuring yoga, pilates and meditation.
