Sam Prior lauded his Brimscombe side after their 6-3 victory over Malmesbury Victoria saw them top their BlueFin Challenge Cup group.

Goals from Kyle Pitts and braces from Jack Holmes and James Campbell seasled an emphatic win to seal a home tie against Bourton Rovers on Saturday.

Prior said: “It was a comfortable victory in the end and a much better performance than Tuesday night at Stonehouse. Nice to score a few goals and put us in a good place for the knockouts on Saturday at home to Bourton Rovers.”
