An independent antiques and interiors shop in Nailsworth is going from strength -to-strength.
Reed Antiques, located on Fountain Street, opened last November and was founded by Suzanne Reed and Alex Hickman. Sharing a passion for antiques, interiors, and beautifully curated objects, the pair have created a space shaped by a love of history, craftsmanship, and the unusual.
More than just a retail shop, Reed Antiques has been designed as a welcoming environment for like-minded individuals who appreciate character, quality, and design with meaning.

“We wanted to build something that goes beyond retail,” says Alex. “A space where people feel inspired, where they can discover unique pieces, and where the high street continues to feel vibrant and relevant.”
The collection reflects a bold yet considered approach to interiors, blending periods, aesthetics, and colours to offer an ever-evolving selection. From contemporary design pieces to ancient artefacts, the emphasis is on quality, individuality, and timeless style rather than passing trends.

While provenance and history remain important, the founders believe good design transcends age. Each item is chosen for its ability to bring character and personality into the home, helping transform everyday spaces into something more meaningful and personal.
Antiques and interiors sit at the heart of the business philosophy, viewed as powerful forms of self-expression. The shop aims to attract customers who share an appreciation for craftsmanship and curated living, offering carefully selected pieces that help shape distinctive interiors.

Suzanne and Alex are committed to offering exceptional quality at fair prices, with a constantly evolving collection designed to encourage repeat visits and ongoing discovery.
Reed Antiques is open Wednesday to Saturday from 10am to 5pm.
