Concerns have been raised following reports of illness among individuals who recently participated in wild swimming at The Meadows at Ebley over the Easter period.
Several swimmers, including both children and adults, have reported experiencing symptoms in the days following their visit. Reported symptoms include sickness and diarrhoea, sore throat, severe headaches, high temperature, body aches, fatigue, and, in some cases, neck pain and difficulty lifting the head.
At this stage, no official source has confirmed a specific outbreak or identified a cause, and there are currently no formal public health alerts linked to the location.
