After a Friday morning enjoying the delights of Stroud, we made the short trip to the Flight Club in the Brewery Quarter, Cheltenham.
For people looking for their kick-start to the weekend, Flight Club is a go-to destination, with their signature burger and drink deal for just £12.
We were greeted by a buzzing atmosphere and friendly staff and ushered to a quiet table at the back.
There is a choice of six burgers altogether, including buttermilk chicken, blue cheese and peri-peri chicken, plus a couple of veggie options, including a red or white wine Prosecco or soft drink.
In my party of three, my friends opted for a smashed burger and buttermilk chicken along with fries. Their silence spoke volumes in terms of utter bliss.
I picked the portobello mushroom and halloumi burger. Generous amounts of slaw and salad complimented the dishes.
All burgers cooked to perfection and we gratified our waitress with all our empty plates.
For £12 pounds this is a great deal. Perfect if you happen to be in Cheltenham at lunch-time and want a cheap, but cheery bite.

Flight Club boasts an extensive cocktail menu and a vibrant playlist. It’s definitely got a sense of a night-time lounge.
It has the vibes of a happy funky airport lounge. Maybe this is why it got its name. If you don’t like loud music this is not the place for you. But if you want a fun endless array of cocktails… with a reasonable meal deal to soak up the alcohol, you may have found your place.
