Road closed after crash with paramedics at the scene

Road closures are in place on the A38 between Fromebridge Mill and Slimbridge following a collision near Cambridge this morning, Thursday.

Police were called at 7.50am with a report of a two-vehicle collision near Elm Farm campsite.

Police are in attendance alongside both the ambulance and fire service while work takes place to free a person who is mechanically trapped inside one of the vehicles.

Paramedics are in the process of assessing those involved.

Motorists are advised that the closures are expected to remain in place for some time and they are advised to find alternative routes.
