Run the Rainbow and help support Longfield Hospice

MOST READ

Longfield Community Hospice’s fun run, Run the Rainbow is back by popular demand, taking place at Cotswold Airport on Saturday 15th July.

This is no ordinary 5k run. Runners – or walkers, skippers or dancers – will be pelted with powder paint and fired at with foam, whilst supporting Longfield to provide much-needed care for people with life-limiting illnesses.

The route is family-friendly and there’ll be street food and plenty of lively music to keep everyone motivated to get to the finish line. Afterwards, runners can chill out with a picnic and watch the planes take off and land. There’s no charge for spectators, so family and friends can join in the fun – enthusiastic cheering is definitely encouraged. What better way to spend a summer Saturday?

Registration starts at £10. The registration fee includes entry to the race, a pair of sunglasses, a pouch of powder paint and a medal on finishing. Parking is free.

Around 85 per cent of Longfield’s funding comes from the generosity of the public. Just £55 could pay for an hour of hospice care, enabling people to die with dignity in the comfort of their own homes.
