Photographer Simon Pizzey’s early start paid off this morning when he caught on camera a spectacular autumn sunrise near Stroud.

“I took my dog out in fields near Whiteshill this morning to witness one of the most spectacular sunrises I’ve seen for a long time, a gorgeous orange glow illuminating all the seasonal spider webs – it was absolutely stunning,” said Simon.
