Serious crash blocks road near supermarket

Emergency services are at the scene of a serious crash in Stroud this afternoon, Thursday.

A police spokesperson said: “Dudbridge Road, near Lidl is currently blocked in both directions after it was reported a mobility scooter and a vehicle were involved.

“The incident was reported to us shortly before 3pm today (Thursday) and closures are in place while emergency services remain at the scene.

“There is congestion as the road is blocked in both directions and motorists are advised to avoid the area if able to do so.
