Voters in next month’s Severn Ward By-Election will have a choice of six candidates.
The vote will take place ward on Wednesday, June 11 to find a replacement Stroud District Councillor Richard Maisey – who represented the Severn Ward for Labour – died suddenly last month at the age of 73.
The candidates are Karen Linforth (Labour), Hena Mannan-Rahman (Conservative), Moya Shannon (Green), Mike Stayte (Liberal Democrats), Ben Walker (UKIP) and Jonathan Wren (Reform).
The ward includes Arlingham, Eastington, Frampton on Severn, Fretherne-with-Saul, Great Oldbury and Whitminster.
Voting will take place from 7am to 10pm.
