Slimbridge have announced the schedule for their pre-season campaign ahead of their first Hellenic League Premier Season in a decade, following their relegation from the Southern League, writes Tim Blake.

The Swans kick off their pre-season with a short trip to Brockworth Albion, Managed, of course, by two former Swans favourites, Jamie Martin and Joel White on Friday July 7th (6.45pm). 

On Tuesday July 11th, they make the trip to Chipping Sodbury Town, who were relegated from the Hellenic Premier last season and will be playing in Hellenic Division One this campaign (7.45pm)

The Swans then return to Thornhill Park to entertain Paulton Rovers, from the Southern League Division One South on Saturday July 15th (3.00pm)

The Swans then travel to Old Abbotonians, who will be playing in the Western League Premier league following their promotion from Western League Division One. This game is scheduled for Tuesday, July 18th (7.45pm)

Two home games then follow – On Saturday, July 22nd, Southern League Division One South side, Melksham Town make the journey to Thornhill Park, before Slimbridge entertain Clevedon Town on Tuesday, July 25th (7.45pm). Clevedon will be playing in the Western League Premier next season. 

On Friday, July 28th, the Swans complete their pre-season with a trip to Shortwood United, who will be playing in the Hellenic League Division One this coming campaign.
