Stars align at Subs for new skatepark: Edith Bowman, Tom Smith, Andy Burrows and Katy J Pearson

High-profile musical stars will rock-up at the Sub Rooms to help raise funds for a new skatepark near Stroud.

The fundraising event on Friday, September 8th will see TV and radio host Edith Bowman perform a DJ set on a star-studded night, which will also feature Katy J Pearson. Edith’s husband and Editors frontman Tom Smith will be joined by Razorlight drummer Andy Burrows as the duo reunite in their collaboration as Smith & Burrows.

Rush Skatepark at Brimscombe Port closed for the final time on August 29th, 2021 and the buildings later demolished as part of the stalled Brimscombe Port redevelopment plan. Since then the Friends of Rush Skatepark have been raising money to build a new skatepark off the A38 near Moreton Valence.
