Si Lock is a man on a walking charity mission.
Si is currently stepping out over 90 miles of the West Highland Way to raise funds for Stroud-based Charity The Door.
Si and friend Paul, who both volunteered for The Door in the past, started the walk, yesterday, Tuesday at Milngavie, heading north of Glasgow, all the way to Fort William where they hope to arrive by tea time today, Wednesday.
Si said: “The Door is dear to my heart, having volunteered there a few years back, and seeing first-hand the impact they have, not just on young people’s lives, but their families too. My eyes were opened to how much needs to be done behind the scenes to make all this happen, so every penny raised is going to help them keep doing what they do.
“I know times have been tough for us all over the past year, and I completely understand money can be, and is tight for many of us right now. But every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference in keeping The Door open.”
