Forest Green are set to sign midfielder Adam May.
May is still under contract at League One Cambridge United until 2025, but he has been transfer-listed by U’s boss Garry Monk. May is currently valued at around £200,000 by transfermarkt.com.
May,26, has had issues with injury at Cambridge – notably the ACL setback he suffered against Bolton in 2022. That kept him out of action for 11 months. But following his return last September, he went on to make 30 appearances for the U’s last season.
A former Portsmouth player, May joined Cambridge on a free transfer in 2020, and has made 142 appearances for the club and scored 10 goals.
