Tiger Harris opened the scoring with a sumptuous first-half strike before Stonehouse took complete control after the break.
New sigining Scott Jordan quickly doubled the advantage, before Alex Kibble added a third with a superb long-range effort to put the Magpies firmly in the driving seat.
