Stroud Camera Club held its fourth competition of the year on Thursday and the standard of images was extremely high.
They welcomed the esteemed Sandie Cox ARPS, DPAGB as judge to pick out what she felt were the best images in each of the two classes – Printed Images and Digital.

In the Print section she selected the excellent still life image by Trish Bloodworth called Vase with honesty.

This was followed by Jeff Wilsons, The girl with the apple in second and Richard Atkinson’s Peace in third.

In the Digital section there were a larger number of images to sort and Sandie selected the excellent Buzzard spitting feathers by Mark Halling in first place.

In second was an image from Stroud Rugby club by Rene Cason called Lineout Action and in third was Vixen guarding her den by Malcolm Marner.

The club would welcome anyone interested in photography to come along to one of our gatherings on a Thursday evening. Details can be found on the clubs website at https://www.stroudcameraclub.co.uk/programme
