Striking images from around the world

Stroud Camera Club’s fourth competition of the 2025/2026 season took place on Thursday and was judged by the highly respected and multi-award winning Ralph Snook.

The Prints section was of an excellent standard with Ralph’s choices being as follows:

In third place was Roger Matthews’ excellent image of Tears of Women and Children; second was Mandi Horwood’s lovely image of Impalas; the winner was Trish Bloodworth’s excellent Blue Duet.

The Digital section was of an equally high standard with the following being declared Ralph’s winners:

In third place was another of Annie Blick’s excellent images called Season in Motion; second was Leslie Holmes’ excellent Emperor Penguin – Antarctica; the winner was also from Leslie Holmes, with her amazing Antarctic view of Iceberg – The Weddel Sea.
