Striking images in club’s Monochrome competition

Stroud Camera Club’s annual Monochrome photo competition was held on Thursday. The judge for the evening was Jay Hallsworth from Gloucester Camera Club, who gave a very detailed and constructive critique of every image.

This is always the most important and appreciated factor in every competition as it is this critique which helps club photographers develop their art.

In a high-scoring competition some of the best prints on show were Imperial War Museum by Steve Vines, Annie Rose by Malcolm Marner and Crested Hawk Eagle by Roger Matthews.

Some of the outstanding images in the digitally projected section were Coming Through from René Cason, Scrummage by Annie Blick, Boy With The Mouse by Trish Bloodworth, Focused from Richard Atkinson and Crossing The Glass Bridge by Mick West.
