Stroud architect to host free advice at Long Table

Award-winning architects, Millar + Howard are set to hold monthly free building advise sessions at the Long Table.

These free sessions will be:

An opportunity to discuss your architectural conundrums.

A chance to chat with local experts about a project or idea.

A place to listen to speakers on a range of topics related to building and living

A place to learn more about industry processes.

The sessions will take place between 2-3 pm on Fridays towards the end of each month at The Long Table, Stroud.  They will give our community an opportunity to learn, grow and share information about building and living to benefit those that need it, but are concerned about the cost of making changes to their homes.

The rising cost of building materials and the cost of living in general, is a cause for concern for many households. We are collaborating with other professional building-related services to share our knowledge and help homeowners with their decision-making process and plan for the future. We hope to empower our community by demystifying our industry processes.

Each session will start with a short talk by an industry expert. We would like to welcome anyone with a question or some knowledge to share to come along and be part of these sessions.

Millar + Howard Workshop is an award-winning architect practice based in Chalford in The Stroud Valleys. We work closely with our clients to understand their needs and meet them in exciting and innovative ways. We believe that buildings come about through shared collaboration. We are committed to sustainability and designing buildings that sit sensitively and lightly within their landscape, enhancing rather than taking away from the environment.

The Long Table is a Community Interest Company offering everyone access to their great food on a pay-as-you-can basis. We invite guests to come earlier to enjoy lunch or a coffee, or to support someone else in our community.
