A country show has been cancelled due to bad weather conditions.
The annual Stroud Country Show was scheduled to take place on Saturday at Stratford Park in Stroud, but organisers said they had to take the difficult decisions because of fears strong wind and thunder storms.
Organisers said: “With great sadness we have had to cancel this years show because of the awful weather.”
The Stroud Show was due to include horticulture and an international brick throwing competition.
They organisers said they will be in touch with stall holders and performers “as soon as they can”.
Stroud Country Show returned last year to Stratford Park and celebrated its 150th anniversary after a Covid-enforced two-year absence.
Hundreds of visitors enjoyed the stalls, displays, musical entertainment and even brick throwing, as temperatures hit 28C.
