Stroud Times sat down with Richard Murray, Director of Murrays Estate Agents Ltd. A familiar face in town, Richard let us delve into his innermost thoughts.
When were you at your happiest? There are different stages in my life, so far, that have been extremely happy. I’m pleased to say I still am happy.
What has been your biggest disappointment? Not been chosen for James Bond!
What is your guiltiest pleasure? KFC . (I have quite a few others!).
What is your favourite smell? The scent from a Daphne plant in Spring.
Who would play you in a film about your life? Daniel Craig!
What do you like most about Stroud? Its vibrant, eclectic mix of people and shops, as well as the beautiful surrounding valleys.
What would you improve about Stroud? More outdoor cafes/bars. Better shop fronts.
What is your ideal weekend? Enjoying the company of my partner, friends, and family.
What is on your bucket list? A tour of India. To fly, long haul, first class. (to name just a few).
What is the most important lesson life has taught you? Be kind and polite. Manners maketh man!
What book and song would you take with you if stranded on an uninhabited island? The Kite Runner (Khaled Hosseini) and Viva Tonight – sung by Katherine Jenkins (played at our wedding).
