The Stroud & District Chamber of Trade & Commerce are leading the English Tourism Week championing of the Stroud District.

Across its social media channels, the Chamber is promoting the diversity of experiences that the Stroud District has to offer, from internationally renowned conservation sites to our beloved markets.

“Tourism plays an important role in sustaining our local economy,” said Tony Davey, Tourism Lead at the Chamber of Trade.

“Through our VisitStroud.uk platform, the official tourism website for the Stroud District, we will be showcasing some of the amazing offerings across our District. English Tourism Week is the ideal vehicle for us to spread our message even wider, and to look forward to bolstering the tourism economy, which supports so many businesses across our district.”

Tom Berry, Chairman of the Chamber of Trade, added: “We are very fortunate to have such a breadth of offerings for our visitors to enjoy, with exploring our countryside and discovering our history being amongst the most popular activities. Tourism income is an essential factor in feeding our local economy; supporting our attractions, our places to stay, our places to eat and drink, and our high streets.”
