Stroud Table Tennis Club is rolling out its TTKidz project at five venues around the district – a major undertaking and more than any other club in the UK, writes Jim Hurford.
Also, STTC is the only club in Gloucestershire to run TTKidz.
Booking is now open and can be made by scanning the QR code on the flyer or by going to www.ttkidz.co.uk and clicking on ‘find a session’.
Please note that although the leaflet states 7-11 years, participants can be older 6-year-olds and younger 12-year-olds.
This is a great opportunity for children from all backgrounds/abilities to find out what table tennis is all about and increase their physical activity at the same time.
It will also be a break from computer games and social media and will have a positive impact on their wellbeing.
Following on from TTKidz, we plan to set up clubs to provide ongoing coaching, practice, games and competitions so plenty to look forward to.
