Stroud Times is delighted to announce Longfield Community Hospice as its charity of choice for 2022.
Co-founder Matt Bigwood said: “We’re pleased to officially support Longfield, who we’ve championed from the day we launched our community-based website last year.”

Based in Burleigh Lane, Minchinhampton, Longfield provides hospice care in the home in the last weeks of someone’s life and offers help and support to patients, families and carers through a range of Wellbeing services at the hospice.
The cost of funding these services is around £4 million per year – more than 85 per cent of which is covered by income generated by fundraising and its 20 charity shops.

Rachel Jones, Head of Fundraising and Marketing at Longfield said: “We’re very grateful for the fantastic support we’ve received from Stroud Times to date and are looking forward to a productive and exciting year ahead!”
