MOST READ

Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage after a collision on the A46 in Nailsworth earlier this week.

The incident occurred at approximately 4.50pm on Tuesday, 18 November, just before the turning for Station Road. It involved a silver Volkswagen Polo and a pedestrian.

The pedestrian—a woman in her 50s from the Stroud area—was taken by ambulance to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital for further assessment after sustaining injuries to her legs. She has since been discharged.

Investigating officers are asking anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have seen the pedestrian in the moments beforehand, to come forward if they have not already spoken to police.

Drivers who were in the area at the time and may have relevant dashcam footage are also urged to contact police.

Information and footage can be provided to police online by completing the following form and quoting incident 320 of 18 November: https://www.gloucestershire.police.uk/tua/tell-us-about/cor/tell-us-about-existing-case-report/
