Stunning images in club’s latest competition

The third Stroud Camera Club open competition of the season took place last week.

The competition was judged by accomplished photographer and judge, Leigh Preston.

In the Digital section there were some amazing images with a fantastic image from Leslie Holmes of Masai Warriors winning the first prize. In second was Mick West with  Queretaro Bell Tower and in third was Ian Peters’ Nursery Seals.

In the Print section Kerrin Malone’s Window Blind was a deserved winner with Leslie Holmes’ Svalbard in second and Leslie again with Poppies in third.

Stroud playwright brings bold new queer history show to stage

Stroud-based playwright and director Louis Davenport is bringing his absurd and brand new play to the Cheltenham Playhouse this May. With his cast of 5, he will dive into the history of sexuality in his new work Queer Eyes on Queer Lives.
