Sutton United are understood to be in advanced talks to sign former Forest Green centre-back duo Jordan Moore-Taylor and Ryan Inniss, sources have told Football Insider writer Peter O’Rourke.
The experienced defenders became free agents following their departures at the end of the campaign and are now expected to bolster Sutton’s back line as the club looks to strengthen after a challenging season.
Sutton finished 19th in the league, ending the campaign five points above the relegation zone following a difficult run of form which saw Chris Agutter’s side lose five of their final six matches.

Moore-Taylor, 32, leaves Forest Green after more than six years at the club, during which he captained the side and played a key role in their promotion from League Two.
In an emotional farewell message to supporters, Moore-Taylor said: “I want to express my thanks to the Club for the past six years. I have had some great times, most notably the promotion from League Two.
“I have played with some great players and worked with some amazing people within the club, making some lifelong friends along the way.
“To the fans I would like to thank you all for the support, you’ve given me and my family during my time at the Club.
“It’s been a pleasure getting to know some of you personally and I will always have lots of fond memories.”
