Minchinhampton New Course Golf Club hosted a charity golf fundraising day event.

in aid of Home Start Stroud and Gloucester – a local charity that provides trained volunteers to support and help families with pre-school-aged children experiencing challenging times.

A total of 64 golfers took part in the event and managed to raise over £4,000.

Ri Ferrier, Director of Home-Start Stroud and Gloucester said: “The charity is reliant on the fundraising efforts of its kind supporters. All of the funds raised will be used to support the services we provide to vulnerable families in the area to ensure that children get the best start in life.
