Brimscombe boss Sam Prior dedicated his side’s 2-1 victory over Royal Wootton Bassett to the memory of vice president John Mutton and his wife Joyce.

Ollie Pitt’s penalty and Jack Smith’s strike saw the Stroud side come from behind at the Meadow in an entertaining Hellenic Premier Division clash which saw Prior’s side maintain their unbeaten start to the season.

Earlier, a minute’s silence was observed for John and Joyce following the shock passing of the popular husband and wife, who died within 19 hours of each other this week.
