The Prime Practice, which is located at Stroud Rugby Club in the heart of Stroud, is dedicated to helping you achieve optimal physical health and well-being.
Company founder James Stevenson and his team have been open for business since 2017 as a leading physiotherapy, sports therapy, and injury clinic, they offer a comprehensive range of services designed to address your unique needs and goals.
James explained: “Our team of Physiotherapists and Sports Therapists are experienced in dealing with a variety of joint issues but most commonly see backs, necks, shoulders, elbows, hips, knees and ankles.
“Recovery from muscle and other soft tissue injuries can be optimised and specified to you. Pain is unpleasant and can often be very worrying.
“Our therapists will diagnose the cause of the pain and explain the reasons for it. With an understanding of the underlying cause, they will work together with the client to create a treatment plan specific to you and your goals. Treatment may include hands-on manual therapy, exercise therapy or education regarding symptom management.”
As well as the Physiotherapy clinic, The Prime Practice also holds weekly Pilates classes and Long Term Athletic Development (LTAD) programmes.
James added: “Our Piliates classes are a great way of improving core stability and strength, building muscle strength and addressing muscular imbalances.
“You can also benefit from improvements in posture, balance, flexibility and mobility. This low impact form of exercise can be used to aid recovery from various injuries, especially low back pain.
“It can also be used as part of a fitness programme for athletes and dancers or can be used as a way of maintaining a healthy, functioning body. If you’re injured and currently doing rehabilitation or looking to maintain or improve general fitness levels we can tailor a program to suit you.
“The LTAD programme is a youth lead class specifically designed to meet the needs of children at any developmental level to promote fun, positive sports and fitness experiences which in turn help set the foundation for a lifetime commitment to healthy activities.
“Through our classes they will perform different exercises and movements which will strengthen them in multiple planes, to avoid overuse injuries. Other common injuries occurring in children are due to muscular imbalances and poor conditioning. We hold classes for 8 -13 year olds and 14-18 year olds.
“We are committed to delivering exceptional care and support to help you achieve your health and fitness goals. Our dedicated team is passionate about empowering you to lead a pain-free, active lifestyle. Visit us today and take the first step towards a healthier, happier you.”
