The Property Centre, announces significant charity pledge to mark its 25th year in business

Leading local estate agency group, The Property Centre, celebrates its 25th year in business in 2022 and has decided to mark its anniversary by donating £25 to charity for every property* instructed this year, which completes or lets by the end of the year.

Established in 1997 by founding Senior Partners, Steve Jones and Stuart Nash, with a single office in Gloucester, the Company has grown over the last 25 years to become the area’s largest independently owned estate agency and now has 10 offices across Gloucester, Cheltenham, Stroud and Worcester.

In support of these 4 areas, the company has chosen a charitable cause in each locality and predicts the pledge will raise in excess of £25,000, to be split equally between the 4 charities, namely;

Longfield Community Hospice in Stroud, which provides free care and support for adults in Gloucestershire with a life-limiting illness;

The Chamwell Centre in Gloucester, which provides a centre to enable pupils of The Milestone School and SAND Academy, along with children, young people and adults throughout Gloucestershire to overcome disability;

National Star College in Cheltenham which enables young people with disabilities to realise their potential through education and by providing other transition and accommodation services; and

St. Richard’s Hospice in Worcester cares for people with a serious progressive illness, whose complex needs cannot be met by other services.

“As everyone knows, the pandemic has presented a great many challenges for charitable organisations, both operationally and in terms of funding, but throughout the last 2 years these 4 local charities have all continued to provide much-needed care and support to individuals and their families”, said Steve Jones.

“As a local company, we’ve built our business on being an integral part of the communities we serve and we’ve been proud to fundraise for some of these charities before, with events like climbing the National 3 Peaks in 24 hours and completing the Cotswold Way Challenge”, continued Stuart Nash. “However, our 25th anniversary pledge is suitably more ambitious and we’re delighted to be helping such worthwhile local causes during this most testing time”.
