The Property Centre is celebrating 25 years in business by supporting the great work carried out at Longfield Hospice.
On a recent visit to the hospice, Tanya Price from The Property Centre handed over a cheque for the money raised for Longfield Hospice to date, as part of the company’s ‘25th Year in Business’ charity pledge.
The Property Centre is marking its anniversary by donating £25 to charity for every property* instructed this year, which completes or lets by December 2022.
So far, the pledge has raised £2,175, but that is expected to increase significantly over the next 6 months and should raise in excess of £25,000 before the end of the year. All the money raised is to be split equally between 4 local charities: Longfield Hospice, Chamwell Centre, National Star and St. Richards Hospice.
Longfield Hospice
Longfield Hospice is a haven of tranquillity with stunning gardens and facilities and provides outstanding care and services to patients, their families and carers alike. Whether it’s counselling, support groups, or expert care at home during someone’s final days, the hospice brings comfort and reassurance to patients and loved ones when they need it most.
However, only 15% of their costs are funded through the NHS, so charitable donations are much needed. Take part in Longfield’s next upcoming event, Run the Rainbow at Cotswold Airport – a fun-filled day with inflatable obstacles, a riot of powder paint, frothy foam and music zones to keep you energised along the 5k route.
