Thieves stole a Seat Leon car after breaking into the owner’s home and taking the keys.
The incident happened in Eastington, near Stonehouse is believed to have taken place overnight, Sunday, as a noise was heard between 11pm and midnight.
A police spokesperson told Stroud Times: “It was reported that a homeowner on Cotswold Avenue woke up this morning (Monday 10 February) and noticed that one of their downstairs windows had been broken and their Seat Leon Cupra Estate, with the registration PX20 VNC, had been stolen.
“Enquiries are ongoing to locate the car and anyone with information, who has seen the car today or who witnesses suspicious activity overnight is asked to make contact.”
