Tickled pink: Dale Vince reveals new Forest Green kit

MOST READ

Always pushing the envelope, leftfield Forest Green chairman Dale Vince caused a stir at today’s new manager announcement by strutting into the New Lawn in a resplendent pink kit.

Fashionista Vince surprisingly announced next season’s bold pink design as the media gathered to meet new Rovers’ boss Ian Burchnall.

Vince said: “When I first got here, Forest Green Rovers played in a grass green coloured shirt, where’s the sense in that, that’s the antithesis of bright pink?”

The shirts are a combination of coffee grounds and recyclable plastic bottles, which is a special process, so everything in them is recycled or organic.

Rovers will still sport their traditional green and black home kit.
