Dursley’s Wings and Wheels Society steams into the New Year with a talk entitled The Railways of Sharpness by Mike Smith.

This pictorial show will look at the History of Sharpness Railways from the Industrial Docks to the once busy Mainline including the Severn Railway Bridge. 

Mike will also look at the steam locomotives that were cut up at Coopers Scrapyard Sharpness in the 1960’s. The talk takes place at Dursley Community Centre GL11 4BX on Thursday, January 8th at 8pm.
